This gorgeous baseball-size 3-inch ultra-rare Isua Stone crystal skull from Greenland is black with several distinct banded rings that go all the way around the skull in light grey/white/cream/gold, with sparkling crystals visible in the bands on the left side. It is nicely carved and smoothly polished with a pronounced ridge on the left side of the crown in one of the bands that forms a “halo” on top of the skull.

The banded iron composition once formed part of the bottom of the sea and contains layers of micro-organisms, the very first lifeforms on Earth. Scientists believe it may provide the basic codes for existence on this planet, and it is even said that research of these rocks has shown that life could come from other worlds. At almost 4 billion years old, this ultra-rare Isua Stone skull from Greenland is carved from some of the oldest remaining pieces of the Earth's primordial crust, making it truly ancient.
